Are Corticosteroids Advisable For Pleural Effusion?

Hi i have been diagnosed with pleural effusion on left lung and the pleural fluid they investigated is having high ADA levels-67.2U/Lt and then they started with AKT 4 ,also i feel lethargic after taking these medicines
Also they have given me Cortiocsteroids 40 mg daily its been only 5 days with the medicines kindly guide
