Are Fever And Lump On Forehead Symptoms Of Non-Hodgkin S Lymphoma?

My friend s mom (57 yrs) having fever since 3-4 months. Doctors did all the tests. There is a lump on forehead. Doctors are doing biopsy and all other tests. They found traces of cancer. Biopsy reports are yet to come. Shows two possibilities. 1. Non Hodkin s lymphoma 2. Small cell carcinoma My question is:what are these ? what might be the outcome of biopsy and is it serious and is it treatable ? Thank you
