I had an MRI done on the pelvis and sacrum area. Something showed up that the doctor believed was a ganglion cyst. I have been in severe pain, my right hip has "given out" on occasion, and I have severe back pain as well (even though the MRI came back normal for it. I had a Thoracic,Lumbar,Pelvis, and Sacrum tested). I have been given Hydrocodone 10mg/325mg APAP which does nothing for the pain. On a normal day I am about a 8/10 on pain scale. I then can go for days of it being over 10 on the pain scale. I do have some nerve issues (Anxiety and RLS). I have done some research on ganglion cysts and cannot find much on one in the pelvic area since they usually develop on wrists and feet. The severe pain started in my 2nd trimester of my first child. I am 25, and my daughter is now 9 months. Is there anything else that it could be besides a ganglion cyst that would cause this much pain? I have finally been referred to a pain management doctor, but do not see him for 2 weeks and am just looking for answers as to what else it could possibly be (off the top of your head since of course you can not see the MRI) Thank you. ~ Chelsea
