Are High HCG Levels With Absence Of Foetal Pole Be A Matter Of Concern?

My LMP was 12/20/14 and my cycles are usually regular, so that puts me at about 6 weeks gestational age. I had a transvaginal US today and a gestational sac and yolk sac was seen, but no fetal pole. MY last HCG count was 10,000. Is it normal for the count to be that high and still not see a fetal pole?
