Are Hot Flashes And Night Sweats Normal During Menopause?

Hi, May name is Sister Grateful. In April 1999, at age 39, I had everything taken out except my right ovary. I was just confirmed that I am completely menopausal now. I am also a six year breast cancer survivor, estrogen positive. I have adhesions and will soon have the right ovary taken out. Since I am menopausal now, will I experience even more hot flashes and night sweats than I have already experienced? I can't take anything for the symptoms and they seems to be easing up some. Will they get worse again once I have the other ovary removed?
