Are Imbalance Issues Along With Difficulty Walking Symptoms Of Nerve Damage?

I was diagonize with nerve damage for 4 years now and I lost my balance and walk eith a walking. I have just been to my GB and she told me that my neuorolgist thought I have myopathy maybe from taking some high cholesterol tablets and yes I remembered, my question is, can myopathy can be mistaken as nerve damaged?
