Are Lumps In Tests Of Invasive Breast Cancer Considered Separate?

hello my wife has been given a diagnosis of invasive duct breast cancer. She is scheduled for a lumpectomy and staging to follow. In terms of initial tests they found two lumps close together. Both are 1. 5 cm. As it relates to TNM staging is this considered a 3 cm tumor or two seperate? Any information would be appreciated. thank you

Exact TNM staging can be arrived only after surgery. It is better not to worry about staging now. if two lumps, size of largest is taken into account
