Are Pinworms Highly Contagious?

I have a 2 year old and a 10 year old who have been playing with their cousins and I just found out their cousins have had pinworms. I'm really freaking out and need to know if I need to treat them now before symptoms appear. They are not showing any signs but according to research they are highly contagious.
