Are pneumonia symptoms akin to copd? I have chills, sweats, acid indigestion, coughing, fatigue and coughs. I had an X-ray and they called to tell me I have slight COPD. I have never been told I had COPD in my life. These symtons started with a sore throat and morphed into cough and sinus over two weeks ago. I have been diagnosed with asthma but it has not been an issue in the last 20 Years. I am on augmentin and have had 6 days of it and still not better. Is it possible to get COPD that fast? Should I get another opinion if not better in next couple days. Hard to get anything done and I am pretty busy. Thanks
