Are Ringing Sounds In Ear And Pain In Upper Back Of Neck Symptoms Of Tinnitus?

I have for the last two weeks been having a ring or hum seemingly from my ear. Seems it s more the right ear. It went away a few days ago but is back today. Along with that I seem to have a ache in the upper back of my neck which is relieved by leaving my desk and taking many short breaks (work on the computer all day) Does this sound like it s stress induced? Or Tinnitus? or???? Any suggestions to sort it out?
