Are Small Red Bumps On The Stomach A Viral Rash?

Hi, my 1 year old has just gotten over 2 different types of viral rashes per his pediatrician. He was given a steriod to help them go away since he had them for about 2 weeks. now, it looks like the rash is coming back. he has small red bumps (like ant bites w/o the whitehead) just on his stomach. could it really be the viral rash coming back or another one?
