Are Sore Breast And Missed Period With Spotting Symptoms Of Menopause?

I am 40years old my periods have always been regular I was expecting my period by the 1st or 2nd of February but so far I have only slightly spotted, little cramping but my back and breast are so sore, could I possibly be pregnant or is this menopause
