Are The Adenoids Swollen Because Of Wax In The Ears?

My 5-1/2 year old daughter is suffering from tonsillitis and adenoiditis, she breathes through her mouth, and if she starts coughing she keeps on doing, its like something irritating in her throat, presently she is montek LC kid and she has ear wax in one of her ears, while on MLC there is no cough. My question is are the adenoids swollen because of the ear wax in her ears ?, she also suffers from constipation. Kindly advise.
