Are The Poly Cysts In Kidneys Transferred To Children During Pregnancy?

Hi doctor....I have 2 year old son. Before birth I was told by my doctor that there are cysts in his left kidney. Post birth we went for tests again and it shows his left kidney is non-functional, while the right kidney is normal. I have polycystic ovaries which caused me to have high BP during pregnancy. I had to take folic acid tablets and other medicines to keep it in control. Now, I am pregnant again, I am worried what if the baby also develops the same complications. Is it possible that I have passed on this disease to my son? My husband has a history of kidney stones. However, recent tests have shown his both kidneys are working fine but he still has 2 stones. Can he be the reason? We are worried about the new child and are not sure to go through the pregnancy. My age is 31 heigtht is 5ft 4 inch and weight is 70 kg. Please advice.
