Are The Red Itchy Spots Of Skin On My And Palms Related?

I have itchy red bumps on the palms of my hands and sides of my fingers, my doctor has prescribed me with a cream which I apply three times daily. However, just before I started using the cream, I discovered areas of slightly raised, red, itchy skin on my inner thighs - could these be related and should I try applying the same cream to my inner thighs?

I'm female, 5'3", weigh about 11st, non-smoker, and have no health issues
