Are There Any Benefits In Having A Duplex Kidney?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...Hello, I have a duplex kidney two separate cortex and each has a ureter that joins just before the bladder. I have never had any problems, could there be any benefits to this? ex:Is it like I have 3 working kidneys?not being affected by alcohol as much as others?
