Are Tiny Blisters On Hands And Wrist Symptom Of Ant Bite?

Recently, I thought that I had gotten my hands into an ant bed and not realized it, but these litlle ant bite-like blisters seem to just appear on their own. They are not on my palms...they are on my thumbs, the backs of my hands and a few on my wrists. They appear like tiny blisters, much like ant bites, but I think I would know if they were ant bites....What can be suggested as a cause? I am a 47 year old female, of good health.
