As a daughter of my mother having Alzheimer's for the last six years of her life as well as her mother with a more severe case ,do you think I should be tested to see if I have the gene?My 32 year old daughter as well as my 30 year old son want me to be checked but I understand the test is thousands and usually not covered by insurance.What should I do?Am early 60 ish,was physically healthier prior to care taking of my father before his recent death.Hecwas 92 and had a long happy life with my mother.
