As a result heavy and daily bleeding from fibroids and anemia, I have recently been prescribed medication tranexamic acid 1 gram TDS combined with norithisterone 5mg ( 1 3 times a day. I have a planned hysterectomy on 21 April. I started taking the medication on 22 march and have enough to last me until the day of the surgery making it a total of about 40 days. I have finally stopped bleeding but is it safe to continue taking the medicines for this length of time. Note that my blood pressure and asthma are well under control. Thank you.
