Back In The Late 50's 60's (I Am 66 Now)

Back in the late 50's 60's (I am 66 now) I was given a small round pink pill, it was called Librium. When I tell my doctors that now they just look at me. Do you why I would of been given this ? I can tell you I was a very nervous child due to family interactions and my hands did shake more than normal and school was hard due to concentration factors even though I aced all Iowa testing.
