Because Of The 'donut Hole' I Cannot Afford Lantus And

Because of the 'donut hole' I cannot afford Lantus and my DR prescribed Novolin nph. I am afraid to start it because even though it is slow acting it is not flat like Lantus. I am to take it at night. Am I wrong to be nervous? I will be taking 20 units.
