Been In Dentistry Myself For 43 Years, What Is Perplexing

Been in dentistry myself for 43 years, what is perplexing me is, ..lower right first molar, new crown -had root canal first -wore nicely fitting temp for 3 months, due to the incorrect making of the crown 2 times!
Never had any pain, occlusion feels correct, now gum tenderness interproximal lingual distal corner.
Could this also be, ...I am in the middle of two implants left upper first and second molars, and the right side is taking all the brunt...now ready for implants to be put in, but got a whiplash from a hair salon sink.
I have claened it, Don't want to irritate it too much, have a piece of coloplast over it right now. ...going to stay on soft diet until implants are placed. I personally feel that the right has been over worked since October?
