Beneath My Thumbnail, At The Base Where The "moon" Is,

Beneath my thumbnail, at the base where the "moon" is, appears to be detached from the nailbed beneath. I can feel a bubble/space when I press on it. I do not have pain as I press it. Will this just grow out? I don't remember having an injury. I'm not worried; just wondering if I should have it looked at.
