Both Arms Feel As Though I Have Been Weight Lifting

Both arms feel as though I have been weight lifting I have had this for nearly 12 months and there seems to be no let up but I do suffer with arthritis in my hands etc and I do havepain in the shoulder I have had X-ray which the out come was degenerative disorder can this be the problem with my arms
