Both Corners Of My Mouth Are Red And Cracked Open

Both corners of my mouth are red and cracked open to the point they bleed. I don't think it is a cold sore, but when I eat anything spicy or salty it hurts. Is there something that I can get over the counter to help. I have been using Carmex and no relief.
