Both My Earlobes Have Some Dark Purple Color To Them,

Both my earlobes have some dark purple color to them, almost looks as if they are bruised. This is a constant problem. Also they get like they are dry and flaky. Sometimes they look as if they are dirty but are not. What is the cause of the dark color?
