Btw This Will Be Long Sorry. Hi There, I Was

Btw this will be long sorry.
Hi there, I was told I had a stress fracture in my 5th metatarsal after having pain, swelling redness/bruising which had been causing me trouble to do sport but yet I managed to do a season of netball on it as I had to. They found the stress fracture about the end of February 2015 which took 15 months to find. They did 2 MRI's, 1 ultrasound and a couple of xrays and the 2nd MRI finally found it. I was then placed in a moon boot until the end of April start of may 2015 and had another MRI and xray which then me told it had healed. Then couldn't do any/much sport at all for another 1-2ish months. I had no pain, swelling bruising etc after I was out of the moon boot. Since about 3 months ago (end of dec-2015 start jan-2016) all of those symptoms have come back. I have been doing ice, resting and supporting it, doing as much physical activity as I can but as soon as it hurts I stop. Even by sitting down, walking around or doing as little as nothing this can all happen. I'm concerned that the stress fracture has come back and I'd like a 2nd opinion as I've been told these symptoms could end up being normal which I can't believe as I've done research and most websites were saying that surgery is possibly and can be required. Also I was seeing a orthopedic surgeon at the time of 2015 but wasn't to impressed. Sorry this is so long but thought I'd explain. Thankyou.
