Can AF-K Lotion Be Applied On Skin For Treatment Of Vitiligo?

Hello I have been prescribed AF-K lotion when I consulted a skin specialist for the presence of white patches on my lower cheeks. When I read the directions for use, it s written it s a lotion to apply it on hair. But, the infected area is my lower cheeks. Where should I apply it to?
