Can Aderall, Xanax And Steroids Along With Alcoholism Cause Death?

A friend recently passed away at 29. He was found conscious but was making a gurgling sound with red foam at the mouth. The paramedics were unable to resuscitate him. He had a history of alcoholism and used to take adderall and xanax. Another friend mentioned he started to use steroids but was not working out. What might be the cause of death?
