Can Athalin Be Taken For Breathing Difficulties?

My husband is using Asthalin capsules 3-4 nos daily whenever he feels breathing problem. I heard that Asthalin is not good for our body as it is a steroid. But he cannot stop this as it gives him fast cure from breathing difficulties. Kindly let me know is there any problem if he use Asthalin. He is 32 years old now. He is using Asthalin since 10 years.
