Can Bactrim Forte Tablet Be Taken To Cure Wound At Surgery Incision Site?

Hi, I want to know if
Bactrim forte 800/160 mg is indicated on skin infections. I have a wound as a result of a surgery on my breast that hasn't healed yet and it looks yellow, when I put alcohol or peroxyde water it bubbles and the skin is read around it. Shall I take Bactrim to avoid infection?
