Can Butalin Syrup Be Given To An Infant For Cough And Fever?

My son is 22 months.. He is having cough since 3 days Nd is accompanied by fever.. He had ice cream. Day before yesterday and after that only it has become more.. Also there is some dust in the air past few days.. I have started Giving him Butalin syrup twice.. Is it OK!
