Can Cerazette Cause A Hormonal Imbalance With Hair Loss?

I was on cerazette for 10 months, stopped taking it 3 months ago and have recently noticed significant hair thinning. This is quite shocking for me as I have always had very, thick healthy hair. I have been to see my GP who has given me ferrous fumarate as I have a ferritin level of 40. However, I believe my hormones could be to blame for this. Could the cerazette have caused a hormonal imbalance?
