Can Cigarette Cause The Blood Pressure To Drop?

My regular blood pressure has always been on the low side, though regular Dr checkups ensure me its fine. I do notice, that when smoking a cigarette (1/2 of one - as I seem sensitive to them)....in usually a social envirenment....I feel about ready to pass out! Odd. The only other time that experience has happened was when my body seemed to reject the IUD birth control. I passed out when my Dr. did the procedure. There was a name for it-I forgot now. My blood pressure dropped due to the procedure. I did need to have the IUD removed because I continually felt dizzy & had contractions almost like when I gave birth to my children! Can cigarettes cause blood pressure to drop?
