Can Depo Contraceptive Fail?

hi went to the dr for strep thoat and gave me antibiotics (5-31) while i was on the depo, they told me it was ok to have sex without a problem now I feel sick to my stomach, tired, and wanting to throw up, do u think there is a chance of me being pregnant?
