Can Dianette Be Continued For Pimples On The Face?

Hi I am 38 years old and had a hysterectomy 5 weeks ago but still have my ovaries.I was taking Dianette for acne and contraceptive needs,it was the only thing that helped my skin after many years of trying and had been on it for ninr years before my op but stopped taking it 6 weeks ago,however my skin is starting to get spotty again,can I take Dianette again or will is have negative affects
