Can Doxazosin Mesylate Be Taken Instead Of Amlodipine Besylate?

Hi I ran out of my prescription amlodipine besylate 5 mg I have been taking this for two months In the evening missed my dose last night thinking I could pick it up on my way home from work, pharmacy said the doctor had not replied yet and that it would not be ready until tomorrow, can I take doxazosin mesylate 4 mg tonight and resume the other when I pick it up tomorrow? Did not think missing it would matter but I feel a tightness in my chest and have a headache
