Can Gaviscon Cause Pale/white Stools?

Can Gaviscon turn a person s stool pale or white, or is this a warning sign for something else? I just used it for the first time ever last night. Over a 24 hour period I have taken about 6 Tbls. Had first BM since and its white. Have been having other issues where white stool would be an issue, but don t want to jump to conclusions and make a Dr s appt for something silly like use of Gaviscon .
