Can HCG Diet Be Followed After Taking Depo Shot?

Hi I plan on starting the hCG diet within the next week or so but I just went and got a Depo shot today! If I start the hCG diet will the Depo shot cancel out the diet since it's a hormone diet? Or am I ok to go ahead with it? I just don't won't my body to get ammune to the diet!
