Can HCG Diet Be Followed When Suffering From Familial Hyperlipidemia And Diabetes?

I am a 61 y.o. relatively healthy female with familial hyperlipidemia and type 2 diabeties with an H1C of 6.0 on no medications. I do not have HTN but am over weight @ 185 lbs on a 5 4 frame. I have an active job as a Registed Nurse on a heavy Rehab unit and eat very healthy 85% of the time. Would I be a candidate for a short course of a HCG diet?
