Can HCG Injections Cause Periods To Stop?

Hey, I am doing the hcg shots for weight loss. When i first started it, i had 2 cycle of my period being regular. After the last two peroid, i've been missing it for close to 3 months already. Do you think the hcg shot is making my period stop and if so, is it safe or what should i do?
