Can I Discontinue Clexane After The Pain Has Subsided?

hi,i was prescribed clexane100mg on friday,as i was experiencing persistent pain in left calf,was sent to a&e,seen by dvt nurse,a blood test done and was told that the d.dimer was high....i have to continue taking clexane until thursday,when i have to go to hospital to have a doppler scan.can i stop taking the clexane as i no longer have pains in my legs
