Can I Discontinue Contraceptive Pills While Staying Away From Husband?

Hi, may I answer your i had sex with my husband for consecutive 8days.i was taking oral contaceptive pills these days.today my husband has left home for a trainning of six monthes n we r not going to have any sex these six monthes.when should i now stop taking those pills?shall i continue it foe a few days more to lower the chance of being pregnant?
