Can I Have MRI Done Before Ovulation?

Im Trying to have a babe, and a week ago I had a bad pain in my neck and shoulders and the doctor asked me to do MRI but I havent done it since I was not sure Im pregnant or not, No I had my period and still have the pain in my neek ... so is it safe to do the MRI now before my oviulation date or it will affect my fertility???? dose it have any long term effect on fertility? please adivece
