Can I Still Get My Tongue Pierced If I Have Swollen Tonsils With White Spots, Possibly Indicating An Infection Or Tonsillitis?

Hi, I’ve recently had a sore throat and my tonsils are swollen, close together with white spots on them, I am meant to be getting my tongue pierced on Saturday if I do have an infection or tonsillitis would I be able to get this piercing still? Thank you!
