Can I Still Have A Hernia Even Though The Ct

Can I still have a hernia even though the ct scan with contrast did not see it? I have terrible abdominal pain especially with movement and lifting things. Acute pain just north and right belly button. Pain is associated with lifting and carrying, not with eating.
