Can I Switch From Clarithromycin To Amoxicillin Halfway Through Chest Infection Treatment Due To Side Effects And Concerns About Heart Risks?

Hi can I switch from clarithromycin to amoxicillin half way through the course, as I concerned about the long term heart problems from clarithromycin, I was prescribed amoxicillin first for a sinus infection for five days , then had a chest infection from a cold virus . And prescribed clarithromycin for seven days for the severe chest infection, taken it for three days two 500mg a day , with good results , but feel nauseous mid afternoon and very tired, as I have obstructive sleep apnea and use a Cpap, , can I switch back to finish the amoxicillin for three days, and not finish the clarithromycin. I have ho heart problems in my history at all.
