Can I Take Aspirin 81mg For The Pain In My Shin And Calf Area?

I am a 47 year old woman and during the past week I have had a throbbing pain in my shin and calf area of my right leg I really cant think of any over stress I have done to it I feel fine other then the annoying pain of it. should I take a 81mg aspirin just to be sure of any blood clots? I have no swelling or heat just a muscle type aching or at least I think that is what the pain is.
