Can Implanon Insertion Cause Arm Pain?

I got the implanon in my arm on the 2nd of April this year, and my arm is hurting so much that i cant lift anything, hardly even my handbag. Has that got something to do with the implanon or is it something else. As its only hurt like this ever since the implanon.
