Can Lisinopril or Carvedilol weaken my immune system? I have Peripartum Cardiomyopathy (almost 3 months postpartum now) and started taking these medications 12 days ago. I woke up in the middle of the night with one of the worst sore throats I've ever had. On top of that my head, nose, and ears feel super stuffy and it's just getting worse. I called my doctor's office and the nurse said I could take Corcodin HBP so it wouldn't mess with my BP meds. I'm most worried about giving what ever this is to my almost 3 month old daughter.
